Are you a Health Investor or a Gambler??

The more good habits you develop, the less you’ll have to fight with bad ones.
Millions of money and hours are spent on various illnesses when many of them could have been avoided by making healthy habits earlier in life.
Which would you rather be an Investor or a Gambler?? Would you invest in good health now so you’ll reap the benefits later or Gamble with your health by abusing yourself and having many unhealthy bad habits. The former is my choice. What’s yours?? Sadly many people are gamblers where their health is concerned. Just as a wise financial investor will do without certain luxuries now in order to invest for the future, so we should discipline ourselves to invest in our health by making choices that will keep us healthy and strong in the long run.
One of the ways we can show our love and appreciation for God is by being good stewards of the health He gives us. Your body is the vehicle you need to move around the earth and if you destroy it through poor maintenance, unfortunately, you cannot purchase a new one from the store. Make the Right Choice!!
Making healthy choices would sour at the start but gets sweeter in the long run. You would miss the fatty, sweet foods but believe me the end result pays better.
Our bodies are not really all that intelligent. Thy just crave what we repeatedly give them. If it is good, they’ll want what is good and vice versa. You can retrain yourself to enjoy healthy choices in all areas of life. People perish because of lack of knowledge, so be willing to educate yourself in any area where you need help.
Develop the habit of living wisely now so you won’t be worn-out by the time you are much older. If you have already spent years not taking care of yourself and now you are probably feeling sick, tired and worn-out, don’t think its too late for you. Start developing healthy habits right now and every good choice you make now will begin repairing any damage that has been done. It’s never too late to begin.

The 6 Main Pillars of Health

Try paying attention to these 6 areas of life and I guaranty you Definite Results.

1.       Drink lots of Water:
water is the single most important nutrient for our bodies. Water improves your metabolism and can help you lose weight. It increases your energy level, regulates body temperature and transports nutrients and oxygen to your body cells. To determine how much water your body needs daily, take your body weight in pounds and ÷ it by 2, that’s how much ounces of water you need daily. But you don’t have to consume it all in liquid form. You can also substitute by eating lots of fruits and veggies {apples = 80% water; tomatoes & watermelon = 90%; lettuce =95%}. The best way to form the habit of drinking water is to keep it with you all the time.

Keep water as your main drink at home. The fewer choices you have in your refrigerator or cabinets, the more inclined you’ll be to choosing water.

2.       Get Plenty of Rest & Sleep:

life can be shortened by not getting adequate sleep and rest. The mind doesn't function properly without adequate sleep and our immune systems are compromised and become unable to fight off disease. Sleep is very important because our bodies go into a state of renewal and repair and we are refreshed mentally, emotionally and physically for the next day.

Try to have a regular bedtime and get 7 – 8 hours of sleep every night.

3.       Eat Quality Food:
Regarding the weight issue, if you will focus on being healthy instead of being skinny, you’ll eventually reach the weight that is ideal for you.
quality foods = living foods. Eating the things that grow naturally on the earth, such as plenty of fruits & veggies is one of the best places to start your journey towards healthy habits. Living foods are high in nutrients and fiber. Learn to read food labels and you’ll be amazed at what you might be dumping into your body. One of the cardinal guidelines about healthy eating is to do all things in moderation while having as much variety in your diet as possible.

4.       Exercise:

There are multiple forms of exercises and I urge you to select one that suits you, one you can enjoy and possibly turn into a habit. It could be walking, riding bicycle, swimming, playing an active sport, exercising with weights or get an exercise video.

Choose one and Get started!! Doing something is better than doing nothing.

5.       Detox:

toxic buildup can be the root cause of a lot of physical ailments. Some toxins are expelled through breathing and many others are expelled through kidneys and bowels.

Exercise makes us sweat, and that is another excellent way to detoxify. Home saunas can also be used.

    6.       Decision Making: having read through all the areas above, it’s time to make a choice. Take some decisions, Get started and Be determined to enjoy a healthy, vibrant and energetic life.
Decide exactly what you want to achieve; Build these activities into your daily routine; Once you start moving, Keep moving, Don’t stop!!
